Want to learn Spanish as you travel and volunteer, immersed in a new and exciting culture? Experience Ecuador through our 5 or 8-week programme! Learn Spanish in a 1 or 4-week language course before volunteering in care, conservation, agriculture, or tourism projects for four weeks.
Language Course
Living with a host family or in a dormitory during the language course in Quito, you will find yourself surrounded by Ecuadorian culture from the get-go. The Spanish course includes:
- 1-4 weeks of instruction
- 4 lessons a day Mon.- Fri
- Up to 6 students per class
Upon request, you can also extend the course. The school regularly organises cookouts, salsa lessons, excursions to an Indio market, and horseback riding tours in the country.
Volunteering
After the language course, you’ll be ready to put your Spanish skills to use in your volunteer project. Numerous volunteer projects are located in and around Quito as well as in the more rural areas of Ecuador, and you will have the choice between a rural or urban project.
